Pelicans

There were all sorts of birds at the beach in Captiva – blue heron, seagulls, sanderlings, pelicans, sandpipers, snowy egrets, and killdeers. The pelicans are my favorite. Even though they look prehistoric they are quite graceful in flight. Then they dive into the water when they see dinner. Mother Nature is the best reality show there is!
