St. John’s Island, USVI

Once we arrived on St. John’s Island we were corralled into open air taxis for our tour of the island. There were 20 of us in the taxi and we only got out at three of the stops. So some of my photos were taken through small openings in the  crowd!

This was our taxi and I was sitting in the last row – in the middle! Oh, well. It was a beautiful day!DSC_1749

Our first stop was overlooking a lovely beach on a tropical paradise. It was not easy to take pictures from the back row but I managed to snap this one. If you look closely, in the center of the photo, you will see two people snorkeling.

The next beach was more populated but just as lovely. The first photo gives you an idea of what I was contending with.
