I took a close up of a rosebud this morning and then decided to see what I could do with it in Adobe Elements – I have version 9. Here’s the original after I cropped it:
The first thing I did is called ‘Poster Edges’ and it is found in Filter menu under Artistic.
Next, I tried ‘Sponge’ which is also found in Filter menu under Artistic.
Then, I played with ‘Watercolor’ – also found in Filter menu under Artistic.
And just for fun I did ‘Stained Glass’ – found in Filter menu under Sketch.
Which one do you like? I like the watercolor version as well as the poster edges but I like the original the best!

I like the posterized version the best, followed closely by watercolor. Nice picture to start with!
